The former lead vocalizer of la Barberia Del Sur and Sabicas, Enrique Morente has continued to set up the yard for modern flamenco experimentalism as a soloist. His affinity for lyrics scripted by modern and classical poets. Morente’s album Cantando a Federico Garcia Lorca Y Leonard Cohen, recorded with Lagartija Nick, applies the sounds of flamenco to the language of Spanish poet Lorca and Canadian poet Cohen. Morente’s vocals thrust been attended by a serial of Andalucian orchestras from Morocco.
