Jazz camp auditions

Don’t Panic yet
Georgia jam band Widespread Panic is returning to the UNO Lakefront Arena for the first time since 2002 for two Halloween shows. Local favorites Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews & Orleans Avenue open the Oct. 31 show, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk the Nov. 1 show. Tickets were scheduled to go on sale today, but promoter Live Nation delayed the on-sale date to Sept. 26 because of Hurricane Gustav. This year, unlike in 2002, fans will not be allowed to camp on the grounds of the Lakefront Arena.
